Holiday home for rent on Texel (De Cocksdorp)
The holiday begins when the TESO ferry leaves the port of Den Helder. The crossing takes 20 minutes and as soon as the boat is moored the island feeling is already perceptible.
Texel, island of wind and sun, meadows and dykes with sheep, woods, dunes, museums and of course the sea. But also an island of rest and space. Texel is the largest Dutch Wadden Sea island and offers endless possibilities.
You can opt for a passive or an active holiday. But either way, the island feeling remains.
The holiday bungalow, which was completely renovated on the inside a few years ago, is located in the back garden of the owner. It lies on the edge of Texel’s most northerly village, De Cocksdorp. The house offers room for two people, is all on the ground floor and furnished in a modern and very complete way. There is a washing machine in the shed and you can also put your bicycles here and charge them if necessary. There is also a terrace where you can enjoy the sun. Parking space in front of the door.
TThe holiday bungalow is situated on the one hand about 2 kilometres away from the Texel lighthouse and the North Sea beach and on the other hand at 5 minutes walking distance from the Wadden dyke, with the Wadden Sea behind it. The Wadden Sea area has great natural value and is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage.
The cosy centre of De Cocksdorp, with its many restaurants, supermarket and nice shops, is at about 250 metres. The house has wireless internet.
